The Power of Silence

How often do you give yourself silence?

It’s a noisy world that seems to be getting noisier. And the noisier it gets, the harder it is to connect with yourself.

It can be difficult to give yourself silence for two main reasons.

1. You may have many responsibilities that don’t allow for even a sliver of alone time.

2. You feel uncomfortable with silence, so you try to fill it with distractions.

Silence is essential to connect with your inner guidance. Your brain cannot fully reach that higher level intuitive state unless you are completely alone.

It is only in this silent, alone state that you are able to connect with your higher self.

This is one reason that journaling can be such a powerful tool. It allows you to empty your mind and tap into intuitive creativity.

So if your unable to find a sliver of alone time, this may be your sign to actively carve out some space for yourself.

And if you are uncomfortable with silence, this is good news. This means there is something that your higher self is trying to tell you and you just don’t want to hear it.

This might be you if you feel the need to be busy all the time, or if you fear being alone.
