How Coaching Works

Coaching is about exploring. It’s about being curious about who you are and who you want to be. As a coach, I like to think of myself as an exploration partner rather than an expert. Because no one can be the expert of your life expect for you.

We explore together, like two explorers with flashlights exploring a landscape unknown to us both. This unknown landscape is you and your subconscious mind and your unexamined beliefs and thoughts.

1.    You are the agenda. We explore your goals, dreams and challenges/obstacles.

2.    We explore your deeper reasons behind why you have these goals, dreams and challenges.

3.    We explore your feelings and how to feel them instead of avoiding or numbing them.

4.    We explore how your thoughts create your actions and results.

5.    We explore the beliefs that are sabotaging you from getting what you want, and how you may not have realized that they were controlling your life.

6. We make a plan to choose the beliefs you want for the results you want. Then we make an action plan.

7.    We explore your self concept. Who are you embodying? How are you being that’s different than who you want to be?

8.    We explore the ways you are hiding and feeling shame and help you to unhide and unshame.

9.    We explore ways you are loving your self conditionally, or not being loving to yourself, and ways to start loving yourself unconditionally.

10. You learn to declutter your mind, body and soul and trust yourself more. You become best friends with your intuition.
