What’s right for you?
How do you know if something is right for you?
Sometimes as humans living in an overstimulated world, it’s hard to know when something is right for you.
Most of us tend to follow logic, or what looks good on paper. But that is how we get ourselves into situations that may not be the best.
The best way to know if something is right for you is by eliminating what’s not right for you.
This can be hard to do, especially if it looks good on paper.
How do you know what to eliminate?
If it’s not interesting or compelling, it may not be for you.
If you feel curious about it, explore it further.
The best way to know if something is for you or isn’t for you is to think of your energy as something that you budget like money. When you only have a certain amount of energy, you wouldn’t want to waste it on things that feel like you are spending it.
But what would you invest your energy in?
If it feels like an energy investment, it’s probably right for you.
If it feels like it costs you energy, it might not be right for you.
Where do you want to invest your energy? Where do you want to stop spending your energy?
