The Truth About Power
What I’ve learned about personal power
I find the topic of “personal power” so interesting because the root of most problems in life is the belief that you don’t have enough power inside.
My life’s work is basically teaching people that they have all the power they will ever need inside of them, and their only job is to share it.
But here’s what usually happens in life.
As we grow up, life circumstances happen that cause us to think we are less than or incomplete.
We start seeking power from outside sources. This could look like comparing ourselves to others, taking rejection personally, needing approval from others, needing to prove our worth through accomplishment, etc.
This game of seeking power never fills the void and just creates more emptiness instead.
But the good news is the void isn’t real. It’s an illusion that we humans get attached to.
The people who seek external power the most are the ones with the biggest voids inside.
It’s the strategic power seekers who are the people users, parasites and psychopaths in society.
But for most people, it can just look like “needing to get.”
Needing to get more money.
Needing to get more _______(fill in the blanks).
It is a simple concept but can be so hard to see when you’re living it. And once you see it, you’ll have pure freedom and unlimited power. And with your power you can create anything you want, and you’ll never need to seek it from outside sources again.
